Wuyuan County of Inner Mongolia, has over 2000 years of farming history. With sufficient light and heat, many different crops grow well here. After many years development, sunflower has become the main economic crops here, with over 1200km2 sunflower planting areas. The annual output of sunflower plate is 120,000~150,000 tons.

Sunflower plate pectin contains about 15%; Straw pectin contains about 6% (dry basis). In order to extract the pectin from the sunflower plate/straw, we have several months’ communication with the engineering company to discuss the technical proposal and also invest. Early of this year, we finally get agreement on MVR Evaporation system with nine effect falling film evaporator to have the best working performance, as well as the better invest. Now, the MVR system from LH Evaporator has been working smoothly at client’s factory. We welcome clients from different countries come to check the site.

Why adopt nine effect falling film evaporator?

The concentration of sunflower pectin is 0.5-1% when the boiling point elevation is designed at 2 ℃. At the evaporating temperature, the material enters the nine effect falling film evaporator. The sunflower pectin solution passes through the nine effect to reach the sunflower pectin concentration.

Falling film evaporation system can evaporate high concentration and high viscosity material.

Short residence time, not easy to cause the deterioration of materials, suitable for processing low concentration and heat sensitive materials

MVR evaporation system composition

The composition of MVR Evaporation concentration system: Preheating system, evaporation system (with centrifugal steam compressor), discharge system, vacuum system, Water seal system of pump machine and control system etc.

 

High Speed Centrifugal steam compressor specifications:

  • LH centrifugal steam compressors are customized according to different materials.
  • The centrifugal steam compressor is replacement to Piller blowers or piller fans;
  • The centrifugal compressor is replacement to Howden blowers or howden fans;
  • The clients approach to Piller/Howden, or other European evaporation solution company formerly. Now, more and more clients can get equivalent solution from LH Evaporator, similar working performance but much better cost.
